Students in the Baltic Research Institute have the opportunity to pursue their own research projects and design and develop innovative solutions to problems.
All students have the opportunity to work on either industry-led challenges, extended projects or gain industry recognised accreditations through our wider curriculum and project based learning (PBL) programmes. Students are also encouraged to enter their project work into regional, national and international STEM project competitions, where many of our young researchers have won awards and gained recognition for their outstanding research and innovative solutions to global problems.
We have teamed up with a wide range of local employer partners to set our learners industry skills based challenges
Our PBL programme allows learners to develop employability skills and develop innovative solutions to problems.
Our young learners have the opportunity to complete extended projects in the BRI on topics of their own choosing.
