The Culinary Garden and Teaching Kitchen at Starlight Elementary is an experiential learning environment where students and community alike can immerse themselves in nutrition and garden education. The new kitchen and garden is one of only six such projects by the Emeril Lagasse Foundation in the United States, and was supported by our generous community. Its purpose is to bring powerful new learning resources to nearly 20,000 Pajaro Valley students and their families, as well as help other organizations and nonprofits expand nutrition, health, and wellness education in our community.
