Subjects and Courses

In this school there are 2 different curricula: the ordinary, i.e. the traditional one or the applied sciences for lovers of scientific subjects. Well, now after telling you the 2 main addresses let's see the difference between one and the other: Ordinary: in this course the Latin subject is found and scientific subjects do not prevail and the timetables are like those of typical Italian schools. In this address we can note the presence of the 3-hour Latin enhancement which the topics are resumed and instead of the 2 weekly computer hours there are 3 Latin hours obviously which are added to the other strengthening ones. Furthermore, you can also choose whether to make a language (French or Spanish). Now let's talk about applied sciences: it is precisely in this adress that you will find the main innovations in the scholastic method. To begin , one of the innovations is the method for organizing days thanks to the moff project. This is a finnish method which aims to bring together all scientific subjects on close days and all linguistic ones on other days. In addition, even during the various subjects they make us use the computer to do various jobs such as chemistry or physics reports or history 

In our school we have different school hours, we can enter at school from 8:00 but For the first two year we have 5 hours a day except for saturday but for the next three-year we'll have the 6th hour four time a week. Also during the three-year there's a new subject, philosophy, we'll Have three hours a week of them. The difference between these two addresses is that, one has got latin for 3 hours a week, and the other one has got 2 hours of ITE.

In Italy the holidays are different, the Christmas holidays start from 23rd of December to the first day after the epiphany, while easter holidays start on Thursday of Easter week  and end on Tuesday of the following week, the longest holidays are summer holidays, they last 3 month and a week, from the first week of June to the second week of September. 

We also have two more hours a week of enhancement, every years the subject change.
