The license code is a unique 16-character key that verifies your purchase and activates the software. Without this code, you won’t be able to unlock TurboTax’s full capabilities.

• Check your order confirmation email if purchased online.

• If you bought a physical copy, find the code on the packaging.

• To help locate the code, visit the turbotax.com support page.

1. Go to the official website: turbotax.ca/mydownload

2. Sign in using your Intuit account credentials.

3. Locate your purchased product in your account and click Download.

4. Save the installer file to your computer.

5. Double-click the installer to begin the installation process.

6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.

7. Open TurboTax after installation is finished.

8. Enter your 16-character license code when prompted.

9. Verify the code and click Activate.

10. Start preparing your taxes with TurboTax.
