No appointment required. We offer walk-in renewal assistance as time allows.
Monday through Thursday between 10:30 and 3:30
and Friday and Saturday between 9:30 and 12:00.
If the passport agent has an appointment, you may have to wait or return later.

BRING:

• Your passport (issued within the last 15 years--before this day in 2010 for 2025).

• COMPLETED Passport Application Form DS-82 (fill it out online), or you can download and fill out the form by hand or drop by the library to pick up a form. Black ink required.

• One passport photo or we can take your photo here at the library ($15.00)

• CHECK or MONEY ORDER Made payable to the U.S. Department of State
  Note: Payment to the Department of State MUST be check or money order. All checks to the Department of State should state the applicant's name and date of birth in the subject line.

  • Passport Book Fee $130.00 (valid for 10 years)

  • Passport Card Fee $30.00 (valid for 10 years) (Cards are limited to land or sea border crossing to Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, and parts of the Caribbean. They are NOT valid for international air travel.)

Under-age-16 passport applications are always processed as new. 

Current processing time is 4 to 6 weeks. Expedited processing, currently 2 to 3 weeks, is available with an additional fee of $60.00, plus overnight delivery fees.

• You may be required to provide or complete additional forms. Please confirm and complete any required forms before your appointment.

Take your completed materials to the U.S. Post Office after your appointment. The cost of mailing your application is based on priority mail prices. We will provide you with an addressed priority mail envelope to make the process easier.
