WELCOME TO MR. STICKLER'S SOCIAL STUDIES PAGE!

Bio: I owned and operated a small tutoring business for two (2) years before coming to teach at Liberty Christian in the Fall of 2015. Prior to that, I worked as a middle school Social Studies teacher at Pope John Paul II Middle School and Hoosier Academy, both in Muncie, Indiana. I've also worked as a Care Manager at Lifestream Services in Yorktown (Indiana) and as a Behavioral Management Counselor at the Madison County Youth Center in Anderson. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Sociology - with minors in Political Science and Ancient Studies - from Ball State University. I also earned my Master's degree in Secondary Education and my initial teacher's license from Ball State. Go Cards!! I live in Muncie with my wife of 20 years, Carmen, and our daughter, Cassie, who is a Junior at Liberty Christian this year.

2018 - '19 SCHOOL SUPPLIES

These are the supplies that you will need for class. You will need a spiral notebook (like the one in the photo below) for EACH of my classes that you are in. For example, if you have Government and Sociology, you will need two (2) spiral notebooks. These notebooks will stay in the classroom and will be used as journals and for note-taking. Mechanical pencils are preferred if you would rather use pencils for note-taking and classwork than pens.
