LCS Responsibility Centered Discipline - Respect
We have shifted our approach to discipline from behavior centered to responsibility centered. This means, we help teach our students to take more responsibility for their words and actions and be actively involved in making plans on how to overcome behavioral challenges.
One of our foundational expectations for behavior is respect. When we embrace the truth that Jesus loves each and every one of us, we can learn to love ourselves and others and treat everyone with respect, especially those whom God has placed in authority over us.
