The Legacy Ranch Color Guard is part of the award winning LRHS Band organization. During the fall semester, the color guard performs with the talented musicians of the LRHS Marching Band. The color guard's role within the marching ensemble is to visually represent the music. They are the primary "story-tellers" of the group. The guard performs with stylized dancing and spinning of various pieces of equipment.

In the spring semester, the color guard moves indoors and competes as its own entity to recorded music. This activity is more commonly known as Winter Guard. 

The winter season spans from December through April. 

In addition to marching band and winter guard competitions. The color guard members will also perform at football games, various pep rallies, parades, and other school showcases throughout the year.
