Directors

Mrs. Brigette Parsons serves as the inaugural Head Band Director at Legacy Ranch Middle School. Prior to opening LRMS, she opened a new middle school in Frenship (Lubbock) ISD. Mrs. Parsons brings over 18 years of experience to Legacy Ranch. She will be teaching all brass beginners as well as Honors Band.

A native of Central Texas, Mrs. Parsons previously held positions in Round Rock ISD, during which she contributed to performances at the TMEA & TBA Annual Conventions, the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic and the Western International Band Clinic. Ensembles under her direction, her bands have consistently earned UIL Sweepstakes and Best in Class honors at music festivals across Texas.

Mrs. Parsons holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from The University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association and the Texas Bandmasters Association, and is an active clinician and judge.

Wendy Guerrero serves as the inaugural Assistant Band Director at Legacy Ranch Middle School. Before coming to Liberty Hill, she opened a new middle school in Frenship (Lubbock) ISD. At LRMS, Ms. Guerrero will be teaching all woodwind beginners as well as the Symphonic Band.

Originally from Dominican Republic, she was raised in Houston, Texas, and is a graduate of Spring High School. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Texas Tech University. Ms. Guerrero's bands have received Sweepstakes and Best in Class ratings at UIL and music festivals.

Ms. Guerrero is an active performer, clinician and judge. She is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association and the Texas Bandmasters Association. Ms. Guerrero is committed to fostering musical growth and excellence in her students.
