What is a Merge Cube?
What is a Merge Cube?
A merge cube is a soft, foam cube with code on each side. You can use it with the merge cubes apps by selecting an item to view in the app. Then, point your camera at the merge cube and the item for viewing appears on the merge cube and can be virtually held in your hand.

**NOTE - The MergeEdu apps are a FREEMIUM tool. LC does NOT currently have a subscription. Some items are offered for free, but many items require the subscription to the platform to receive ALL of the features. The object viewer app has the most FREE items. We have 24 merge cubes and 12 ipads with these apps on them in the STEM lab available for check-out.

Teachers can use the MergeEDU website/app to share teaching aids and simulations with their students. Students use the app or scan a QR code with an ipad, then use the ipad to view the simulation on the merge cube.

Create an All About Me cube that you can share with your students next year. The topics for the sides of the cube are just suggestions. Feel free to make it fit you. Remember, don't add images, just text. The fun comes when you can add 3D images and animate them in the CoSpaces app.
