At Snelson Golden Middle School we strive to give our students the best education possible. Following the Georgia Department of Education's STEM initiative "to prepare students for 21st Century workplace careers by providing high quality eduational opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields", Snelson Golden Middle School is moving towards an integrated curriculum with project-based learning as the key.

At the Nest, we are committed to ALL students having the opportunities to understand the connection between all academic subjects through project based learning. Exposure to community partners gives students a better view of what is available in the world to succeed. All activities involve the 4Cs: Collaboration, Communication, Creativity, and Critical Thinking.
Our Vision at SGMS: Students will be equipped with the 21st Century skills necessary to soar with creativity and innovative thinking through a multidisciplinary approach of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
GENIUS TIME
At snelson golden, all students participate in genius time. this time is dedicated to allowing students to show their creativity. check out the pictures!
