2024 Spring Keystone Testing Dates
Algebra Keystone Exam - Module 1, Monday May 13th and Module 2, Tuesday May 14th
Biology Keystone Exam - Module 1, Wednesday May 15th and Module 2, Thursday May 16th
Literature Keystone Exam - Module 1, Monday 20th and Module 2, Tuesday May 21st

PDE changed the Keystone Exam/Act 158 Graduation Pathway Requirements to begin with the Class of 2023. Students who successfully completed a Keystone Trigger course during the 2019-2020 school year will be granted a Non-Numerical Proficient score for that subjects Keystone Exam. A student can choose to take the exam if they would like by making arrangements with their guidance counselor. Please click link for more information.
What are the Keystone Exams
The Keystone Exams are end-of-course assessments designed to evaluate proficiency in academic content. Beginning with the class of 2023, students must demonstrate proficiency on the Algebra I, Literature, and Biology Keystone Exams to graduate or fulfill one of the other pathways provided to graduate.

Act 158: High School Graduation Pathways
Act 158 of 2018 (Act 158) was signed into law by Governor Wolfe on October 24, 2018. The legislation changes language about high school graduation requirements, and how Keystone Exams factor into such requirements for graduating classes of 2023 and beyond. The information below provides information on how Act 158 will have an impact on student pathways toward graduation.

Information for Keystone Non Participation
RELIGIOUS OPT-OUT PROCEDURE FOR EXAM REVIEW
From the Pennsylvania Department of Education: Parents and guardians may review the Keystone or PSSA exams if they believe they may be in conflict with their religious beliefs by making arrangements with the School. Confidentiality agreements must be signed, and no copies of the exam or notes about the exam questions will be permitted to leave the school
Parent or guardian must complete the Parent Request to Review Form and email the completed request form to their students guidance counselor.
