The Highlites is the digital school newspaper for Laurel Highlands High School. Articles are written and submitted by students in grades 9-12. The paper is sponsored by Mrs. Jennifer Neill, who is a teacher in the Business Department. 

Each year, three online issues are published: Fall, Winter, and Spring.

LHHS is under the direction of Mr. John Diamond, principal, Mr. Matthew Kalich, Mrs. Brandi Mancini, and Mr. Paul Eckert, assistant principals, and is part of the Laurel Highlands School District in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
