Advanced Academic Programs

Advanced Placement (AP) and College-Credit Plus (CCP)

Ohio law requires all state public high schools to provide students with Advanced Academic Programs. These are designed to allow students the opportunity to earn college credit toward a degree or career certification during their high school years. The Logan-Hocking School District offers two separate forms of Advanced Academic programs at Logan High School: College Credit Plus (CCP) and Advanced Placement (AP).

Both programs offer students a challenging curriculum, with the skills and knowledge that will be of benefit to students intending to pursue post-secondary education. The district offers both of these options to advocate for individual student needs, goals, and flexibility and does not endorse one program over the other.

You can find out more about these programs by navigating to each specific webpage and/or talking with your student's school counselor at Logan High School. 740.385.2069 extension 3.
