Destination Home is a non profit organization based in San Jose trying to end homelessness. Since their formation in 2015, they have helped over 17,000 people get a place to sleep, whether in the form of a shelter or affordable housing. They have a plan set in place from 2020-2025 to help limit homelessness with system changes, affordable housing, and cleaner and healthier shelters. Anybody who wants to make a difference can get involved with Destination: Home. They accept donations and will put them to good use. If you have a corporation or any sort of power in one, you can partner with them to help their project. Even if you don't have the means for that, educating yourself and advocating are crucial. They also have a mailing list to help you stay informed and receive updates.
