Q: Can students drive themselves to Prom?

A: No. All students attending prom are required to ride school-provided transportation. Other forms of transportation are not permitted. This is a lock-in event- students may not leave the venue until prom is over, at which point they will return to Lake Forest High School on their designated coach bus.

Q: Where should we park on campus upon arrival?

A:  Please park in the staff lot in the back of the school building. Enter on Noble or Edgewood/Spruce, NOT the front circle drive. The buses will be staged in the front circle drive so there will be no entering after 4. 

Q: Are parents allowed to watch the Red Carpet?

A: Yes! There will be limited space on the front lawn for seating (first come first serve). There is NO parking for parents on campus. Please park at the train station, or any law abiding side street and walk to LFHS. 

Q: Do I have to walk the Red Carpet?

A: Nope! You can exit the front commons and head to the social hour! If you want pictures on the Red Carpet but don't want to walk arrive prior to 4:45.

Q: Does everyone need to fill out the Table Selection form? 

A: Yes! Every student attending prom should complete the form after deciding  who will be at your table. It helps with cross referencing and conversations if there are mistakes. 

Q: Can there be a table of 8?

A: Yes! You can have fewer people at the table. When you are filling out the form, leave the last two spaces empty.

Q: Can there be a table of 12?

A: Yes...BUT, that makes the seating very tight. If you want a table of 12, fill out the form to the maximum of 10 and then email Julie Crouch at jcrouch@lfschools.net with the additional 2 names for your table. We will manually add them to the spreadsheet. 

Q: Can I bring a purse/clutch or bag to Prom?

A: Yes… BUT… All purses, clutches, or bags will be searched by our security team upon arrival at LFHS. All purses, clutches, and bags must remain on the bus and will not be permitted inside the venue unless prior authorization has been given by the security team.
