Incoming 6th grade summer reading expectations
We are looking forward to having you in our sixth grade classes!
We know that summer reading will help you jump back into school more quickly.
We sure hope that you read all summer long!
Read 1 book from the Rebecca Caudill nomination list. Choose your book using this form. The six books are pictured below.
When you return to school you will be discussing this book with your LA teacher.
Choose another book to read - this is your choice! I've attached a list at the bottom of this page with some recommendations but you do not have to only choose from this list. It's just a place to get started.
Your first project of the year (Cereal Box Project) will be based on this book.
