About me
Hello! My name is Tania Bogart, and I am thrilled to be your teacher at Liberty Academy this year. There are so many things I am looking forward to sharing with you, but before we meet, here are a few things about me!
Education: I hold a Master's degree with distinction in education, along with a preliminary teaching credential in multiple subjects. I attended National University with a full-tuition scholarship as an NU scholar.
I also volunteer, and am the Assistant Dire9ctor of Education with the TEACH organization (together educating all children in hospitals) and work with this amazing non-profit to improve the lives of children who are hospitalized by creating and organizing enriching STEM modules.
My teaching philosophy is focused on a growth mindset and social-emotional learning. There is nothing more important than self-advocacy, emotional regulation, and self-care! We will learn how to cultivate all of those things this year. I have a minor obsession with project-based learning and love to incorporate hands-on activities and a classroom transformation here and there. I am excited to get to know each of you, and am looking forward to a tremendously amazing year!

I am a proud Navy spouse (GO USNA!) and have twin boys, a little girl, two dogs and a lizard. My family is my world, and being a mother has heavily influenced my path to becoming an educator. We love to travel and have many adventures! Cruising is where the Bogarts have the most fun!
My Hobbies

If it is in Michaels, I have tried it! I love to paint, crochet, wood burn, write, and dance. I have written several children's books, and a novel! In my spare time these days, I find myself throwing paint on a canvas- its the best form of self-care and stress reduciton.

My favorite things are the little humans I made, and the husband I share them with. ;)
I have a healthy obsession with all things Disney.
I have one green eye and one blue!
I was born in South Africa and lived there for 8 years!
I love to paint, write, and crochet.
My favorite stores are Hobby Lobby & Michaels. I cannot be trusted to go inside either.
I love to travel.
