About Me

Hi all!  I am excited to be doing fifth grade for another year at LFCS!  I have previous experience teaching first grade, fourth grade, and sixth grade.  I found my passion for teaching when I taught swim lessons in the summers growing up.

The past 8 summers, I have volunteered with a group called Poway Backpackers.  I have taken a group of middle schoolers backpacking from Mammoth to Yosemite over a 7 day/70 mile trip where they carry everything they need on their backs.  I have found joy in immersing myself in nature and seeing the effect that it has on the students.

I've grown up with a love of baseball and the Padres.  I also coached JV Baseball at Escondido Charter High School from 2021-2023.
