Hello! My name is Jessica Alaniz, and I am the proud School Counselor for Rancho Verde Elementary. I graduated from the University of Texas at Brownsville with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master’s degree in counseling. I have 16 years of experience in education, ranging from an After-school Program Coordinator, a Special Education Teacher and as a School Counselor. I look forward to working with all students, staff and family members this school year!

Hello! My name is  Jessica Peralta, and I am the proud School Counselor for Rancho Verde Elementary.  I graduated from the University of Rio Grande Valley with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication.  In addition, I graduated from Lamar University with a Master's degree in Counseling & Development.  I have 12 years of experience in education beginning 3 years as a teacher's assistant, 7 years as a certified 7-12 English teacher and 2 years as a school counselor. I look forward to working with all students, staff and family members this school year!
