Hello! My name is Jessica Alaniz, and I am the proud School Counselor for Rancho Verde Elementary. I graduated from the University of Texas at Brownsville with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master’s degree in counseling. I have 15 years of experience in education, ranging from an After-school Program Coordinator, a Special Education Teacher and as a School Counselor. I look forward to working with all students, staff and family members this school year!

Hello! My name is Ava Khajeh, and I am the proud School Counselor for Rancho Verde Elementary.  I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing.  In addition, I graduated from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley with a Master's degree in School Counseling.  I have 2 years of experience in education as a English II Teacher at LFU.  This will be my first year as a School Counselor at RVE and as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate.  I look forward to working with all students, staff and family members this school year!
