Meet the Counselor

Catherine Jackson   

(A-L)

Catherine Jackson serves the students at Resaca Middle School as a school counselor. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2015.

 

During her career  in public education, she has served as a secondary English teacher and as a school counselor .


Ms. Jackson received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A&M University and a Master in Guidance and Counseling degree from Lamar University

Veronica Gomez

(M-Z)

Veronica Gomez serves the students at Resaca Middle School as a school counselor. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2004.

 

During her career in public education that began in 2004, she has served as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher, Kindergarten teacher, and school counselor.

 

Gomez received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Brownsville and Master of  Education degree in School Counseling from University of Texas at Brownsville- RGV.

Parts of Our Job

As high school counselors, we address the academic, social emotional, and college & career needs of all students. These needs are met through a delivery system of Individual Student Planning, Responsive Services, Classroom Guidance, and System Support. We assist students with the following support:
