Dorothy Coria
9th grade, Alpha Lopez-Z
Dorothy Coria serves the students at Los Fresnos United as a school counselor. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2019.
During her career in public education that began in 2011, she has served as a Middle School Math Teacher and School Counselor.
Coria received her Bachelor of Science degree in Math Education from University of Texas at Brownsville and her Master of Science degree in School Counseling from Texas A&M International University.

Daisy Garrett
9th Grade, Alpha A-Longoria
Daisy Garrett serves the students at Los Fresnos United as a school counselor. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2019.
During her career in public education that began in 2013, she has served as a 7th grade Math Teacher, Athletics Coach, GEAR UP Facilitator, and School Counselor.
Garrett received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at Brownsville, her Master of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas Pan-American, and her Master of Education degree in Counseling and Development from Lamar University.
Garrett is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Michelle Stambaugh
10th grade, Alpha Limon-Z
Michelle Stambaugh serves the students at Los Fresnos United as a school counselor. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 1997.
During her career in public education that began in 1997, she has served as a High School Teacher and School Counselor.
Stambaugh received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Brownsville and her Master of Education degree in Guidance and Counseling degree from the University of Texas at Brownsville.
Stambaugh is also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Charmaine Thomae
10th Grade, Alpha A-Liendo
Charmaine Thomae serves the students at Los Fresnos United as a school counselor. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2017.
During her career in public education that began in 2017, she has served as a College Adjunct Instructor, High School Teacher, Extemporaneous UIL Coach, and School Counselor.
Thomae received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of Texas-Pan American, her Master of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and her Master of Science degree in School Counseling from Walden University.

As high school counselors, we address the academic, social emotional, and college & career needs of all students. These needs are met through a delivery system of Individual Student Planning, Responsive Services, Classroom Guidance, and System Support. We assist students with the following support:
