Meet the Counselors
Mrs. Mary Ochoa
Welcome! My name is Mary Ochoa, and I am the proud School Counselor for Los Fresnos Elementary. I graduated from the University of Texas at Brownsville. I have 27 years of experience in education, ranging from a paraprofessional, a Teacher and a School Counselor. I look forward to another year of working with our little Falcons, staff and family members!
Mrs. Claudia Gonzalez-Rivera
I am thrilled to be your early childhood education School Counselor at Los Fresnos Elementary and Dora Romero Elementary. I graduated from the University of Texas at Brownsville with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and continued my education at the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley where I obtained a Master’s degree in School Counseling . I have 13 years of experience in education ranging from grades 9-12 science high school teacher, science department head, strand leader and a school counselor. I feel very blessed to be part of Los Fresnos family and I look forward to provide support for all students, staff and parents.
