Hello! My name is Cristina A. Garcia, and I am the proud School Counselor at Laureles Elementary.  I have a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (EC-4th Bilingual Specialist) from the University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College and a Master of Science in Professional School Counseling from Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX. I have 13 years of experience in education, ranging from a substitute teacher, a 4th-grade teacher, and a School Counselor. I look forward to working with all students, staff, and family members this school year!
