Writing

In addition to learning cursive it is important that we continue to practice our print as well.  If your child is consistently writing letters wrong/backwards please practice at home.

**Writing 5 Star Sentences:

     1. Starts with a capital letter

    2. Ends with a period

    3. Is complete and makes sense

    4.  Spaces between words

    5.  Written neatly

*Spelling- students are encouraged to use resources to help with spelling as well as using special sound knowledge to sound out words to spell
