These past couple of weeks have gone by so quickly! We have begun to settle back into our school schedule and learn our classroom expectations. It has been exciting to begin exploring all of our different subjects. Students are discovering how much they remember, as well as how much they may have forgotten, as we begin the school year by reviewing some familiar concepts.
Here are a few things we will be focusing on next week:
Science: We will dive into some new material as we explore the states of matter. Students will participate in our first hands-on activity as we learn how to measure different types of matter and analyze the data we collect.
Math: We will wrap up our first chapter on numbers and place value and then move on to multiplication. Don't forget to keep practicing those multiplication facts!
I have been encouraging students to ask questions, take notes, and review and study the material we are covering in class. Developing these good habits early will help them become confident and successful learners throughout the year.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. I am excited to see all that we will learn and accomplish together this year!
Blessings,
Mrs. Boleyn
