I am privileged to teach your child. I have been teaching here in Little Ferry for fifteen years. I am a proud mother of three children, and am so happy to have recently gained a daughter-in-law. My children are all creative types---pursuing careers in Literature and Writing, Art, and Musical Theater.
I'd like to think I was an influence as I initially went to school to be a graphic designer. I graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1984.
Later in life, when my kids were very young, a divorce forced me to go back to school to seek a career. I received my Teaching Certification from Felician College in 2003. The rest is history, as I did my student teaching in first grade at Washington School, and was hired to stay. . .one of my most treasured and monumental moments as I began the career that I still love today!
When I am not at school, I can be found relaxing with my cat Rheedis, walking in the outdoors, practicing yoga, or face painting.
