Past seasons

Due to time constraints, I didn’t get a chance to talk much about this senior class last night, so I want to take a moment to do that now.

This senior class is very special to me for a number of reasons. Some of them were classmates of my oldest daughter before she moved to Duluth, but more importantly, this class was the founding core of the team. Many of them were there at the very beginning, even before we started competing. They have been the beating heart of this team—pushing through both great successes and, at times, disheartening defeats.

These students have stood up to it all with rock-steady determination. They have grown so much during the time I’ve been blessed to be a part of their high school journey. Thanks to their willingness to be active, consistent contributors in building this program, they are leaving behind a legacy that will last for many years to come.

All the future students who join us—who will compete, grow, and find a place to belong—will do so on the foundation this class has laid down.

Seniors, from the bottom of my heart, I say thank you.
