In the Heights is a vibrant musical following Usnavi, a Dominican bodega owner in Washington Heights, NYC, dreaming of returning to the Dominican Republic to revive his father's bar. Over three hot summer days days, he and his neighbors chase "sueñitos" (small dreams), while facing gentrification, love, and the loss of the community matriarch, Abuela Claudia.
