Irmo StuCo has been a proud member of the SCC since its founding in 2017. Each year, we participate in various activities and events with other member schools such as an Annual Meeting of Student Body Presidents, a Summer Leadership Institute, and an Annual Exchange. We also compile and submit an annual binder to be judged. Irmo StuCo is the 2024-2025 SCC Student Government of the Year. 

SCASC is a statewide organization with the goal of developing student leaders and promoting good leadership. Each year, SCASC hosts a variety of events for member schools to network and build leadership capabilities. Irmo HS is a member of District 3. Irmo StuCo has been an active member of SCASC since 2024. Irmo StuCo sophomore, Kennedy Hampton, is the 2025-2026 D3 Co-Chair. We attend the annual state convention and submit projects for awards. 

SASC is a regional organization comprised of 15 states in the Southeastern US. The goal of SASC is to provide student leaders with  opportunities for networking, building leadership skills, sharing ideas, participating in service projects, and getting motivated to make a difference in their schools, communities, and in their own lives. SASC hosts an annual conference each year organized by the Presidents elected at the previous year's conference. Irmo StuCo has been an active member of SASC since 2024. When possible, we attend the annual regional convention and submit projects for awards. 

NASC is the oldest and largest national organization committed to serving middle and high school student councils and the educators who support them. NASC offers programming and opportunities for student council members, advisers, and administrators to connect, grow, and create greater impact in their schools, communities, and beyond. Irmo StuCo has been an active member of NASC since 1999. When possible, we attend the national conference.
