Hello! I am honored to be one of the School Counselors for Chapin Elementary School and be a part of the Chapin community. I grew up in the beautiful Hudson Valley, New York, and received my Undergraduate degree and Master's degree in NY.  I am a certified School Counselor K-8, both in New York, and South Carolina. I have over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, for children and teens, and 3 years as an Academic Intervention Support Teacher, for grades 3-6. 

My family and I have been in South Carolina since 2020 and we absolutely LOVE it! I began my career with Lexrich5, as a Special Services Assistant, followed by 2 years with FIVE, as their elementary school counselor. I am currently in my 3rd year as a school counselor at Chapin Elementary. My son attends Chapin schools and my daughter attends Dutch Fork High School as her School of Choice. 

I am looking forward to helping each student reach their full potential, and build their self-confidence, as a student, and as an individual. I believe all students can grow, educationally, socially, and emotionally, no matter what level, or pace, they begin at. Seeing students grow and thrive throughout the years is the highlight of my role as a school counselor. I am looking forward to another great school year, and supporting the students, families, & staff of Chapin Elementary.
