Hello! I am honored to be one of the School Counselors for Chapin Elementary School. I grew up in the beautiful Hudson Valley, New York, and received my Undergraduate degree and Master's degree in NY.  I am a certified School Counselor K-8, both in New York, and South Carolina. I have over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, for children and teens, and 3 years as an Academic Intervention Support Teacher, for grades 3-6. 

My family and I moved to South Carolina in 2020 and we absolutely LOVE it! I began my career with Lexrich5, as a Special Services Assistant, followed by 2 years with FIVE, as their elementary school counselor. I am currently in my 3rd year as a school counselor at Chapin Elementary. My son attends Chapin Middle School and my daughter attends Dutch Fork High School for School of Choice. 

I am looking forward to helping each student reach their full potential, and build their self-confidence, as a student, and as an individual. I believe all students can grow, educationally, socially, and emotionally, no matter what level, or pace, they begin at. I am looking forward to another great school year and supporting the students, families, & staff of Chapin Elementary.
