About Me
I am a passionate high school Special Education teacher, proudly serving students within District 5 for many years. My dedication to this field is a lifelong vision, rooted in my time as an Irmo High School alumnus, class of 2003. I give my heart to my students and their families, treating them like my own and believing that a happy, supportive classroom is the ultimate foundation for learning.
To best support our learners, I am currently pursuing further education and specialization in the field of visual impairment.
When I am not in the classroom, I am "all things mommy," deeply cherishing my role as a parent to my magical 8-year-old daughter. I love being outdoors—gardening, spending time on the water, or visiting my favorite place, the ocean. I love music, movement, and bringing genuine joy into everything I do.
