About Me

This is my third year at DFMS. I am excited to be working with you and your child(ren). This is my 28th year teaching and I have worked at all levels of education from prekindergarten through adult and secondary education. My goal is for your child to enjoy science and learn in a manner that they can apply what they learn in life and the real world. I love working with students to realize their goals and help them to achieve their potential.

I cosponsor the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at DFMS with Coach Bentz. All students are welcome and we meet about twice a month on Wednesday mornings for devotions, prayer, & fellowship!!

I love to kayak, garden, read, write, crochet, color, cook, and wildcraft in my spare time. At home, we (hubby and I) have two cats (one of my own and a grandcat), my puppy, & 15 chickens. :) My hugest joys in life are my three sons (ages 33, 26, and forever 21) and my two grandchildren.
