Jennifer Rouse

Hello! My name is Jenni Rouse and this will be my eighth year teaching at Dutch Fork Middle School!  I have taught dance for 3 years in the private studio sector, but I was excited to fully devote all of my time and efforts to our fox family and the dance program at Dutch Fork Middle School!  Many call me "Coach" or "Coach Rouse" because I work with our middle school dance team at DFMS.  The DFMS Dazzlers can be seen at all Home C-Team Football games, most C-Team Basketball games, school pep rallies, occasional DFHS athletic events with Varsity Dazzlers, the DFMS Dance program performances and various community projects and events.  In order to be on the team, students must audition during the Spring semester.  However, we have a space for everybody within the dance program at DFMS!!

My mission while at Dutch Fork Middle School is to help create and open a safe space for students to dive into the many joys that dance can bring.  I truly believe dance is for EVERY BODY!!  All I ask of my students is that they come in with an open-mind, positive attitude and give their best effort.  No experience is required--because my job is to teach all levels of dance!  I love seeing the growth each year from my students and I look forward to working with your child this year!
