Meet Mrs. Ross-El 

Hello! My name is Sha' Ross-El, and I am so excited to welcome you and your child to First Grade!

I have been blessed to spend 26 years doing what I love—teaching and helping children learn, grow, and believe in themselves. I graduated from South Carolina State University with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.  I hold a Master’s degree in Reading and Literacy and I am National Board Certified. Creating a classroom where every child feels loved, supported, confident, and excited about learning is very important to me.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am married and the proud mom of four adult children and a very special granddaughter who calls me “Honey.” 💕

A few of my favorite things are coffee, chocolate, and all things pink and green! ☕️🍫🩷💚

I’m looking forward to an amazing school year filled with learning, laughter, growth, and lots of wonderful memories!
