Dear Amazing Students,
My name is Bonnie Neighbors Robinson. I grew up in Florence, SC as the child (and grandchild) of educators. I attended Francis Marion University where I majored in Elementary Education and graduated with my Bachelors of Science in 1992. I then moved to Fort Worth, Texas to attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where I earned a Master of Arts in Religious Education in 1995. After graduate school, I worked as a college minister for three years at the University of West Georgia and served as a houseparent with the Georgia Baptist Children's Homes for one year.
In 1999, I began my teaching career in Loganville, Georgia at Loganville Middle School. During this time I added on a certification in Multi-Categorical Special Education (P-12). In 2004, I moved back to SC to be closer to family. Since moving here I have taught at Lexington Middle School, Irmo Elementary School, Irmo High School, and Dutch Fork Middle School. This year is my 26th year of teaching!
I live in Irmo close to extended family and have two daughters. I love spending time with my family, going to church and Bible studies, going on mission trips, and volunteering. I enjoy taking pictures, listening to worship music and singing, traveling, reading, and drinking coffee! My perfect day would be spent on the beach or in the mountains enjoying God's amazing creation and with loved ones!
I am so glad to have you as my student this year and I look forward to watching you grow and succeed. Let's have a great school year together! Go Foxes! 🦊
With Love,
Ms. Robinson
