Mrs. Michelle Reeves
Room 13
My name is Mrs. Michelle Reeves, and I am currently approaching my 19th year of teaching. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with both a psychology degree and a Masters of Arts in Elementary Education. Both areas prepared me to both educate young students, as well as build intentional relationships to help them meet their full potential. I have taught throughout the district, but have found my home at Dutch Fork Elementary. It is truly a magical place full of curious little fox cubs! I am the proud teacher of DFES’ second grade proud peacocks, and in our classroom we believe in being bold, brave, and beautiful learners. We work together as a whole, as individuals, and in small groups, and pride ourselves on a strong work ethic and an ever-expanding growth mindset. In my free time, I love both to read and write, travel, decorate, organize, and try new things. I am always learning, both from the children I teach, and from real-world experiences. My favorite thing is being in the company of my pets, Ernest (cat) and Ellie (basset hound). My husband (Michael) and I live in Chapin, with our two amazing boys, Colton and Hampton. They are also both thriving students of District 5! I look forward to partnering with you this year, and am honored by the opportunity to influence your child’s second grade experience.
