My name is Patrice Malamis. I grew up just outside of Chicago, Illinois, where I spent the first half of my life. I met my husband at church while we were in high school, and we married seven years later. We are blessed with two great kids—Demetri, a sophomore at Chapin High School, and Zoe, a freshman at Chapin High School—plus our energetic chocolate lab, Marvel, and our cat, Mittens.
We recently moved to Chapin this July and we have LOVED it here in Chapin. This is my 20th year in education, and I’ve loved teaching students across a wide range of grade levels and settings. I earned my undergraduate degree from Elmhurst University in Illinois and my graduate degree from Montana State University. I’m so excited to join the Chapin community!
When we have free time, our family loves being outdoors and staying active. You’ll often find us exploring nature or enjoying the fresh air. At home, I stay busy with baking, working out, and crafting—my favorite creative outlets.
I look forward to a wonderful year together!
