Hey, Fox Cub Families! 🦊

I’m overjoyed to be here at DFES and to get to be your teacher this year! 5th grade was one of my favorite grades as a student & I am committed to creating an awesome learning environment so that you can say the same! We are going to have a great year full of growth, learning, and fun!

I am entering my 7th year teaching and have taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. I was born and raised on Long Island in NY. I earned my B.S. in Teacher Education and Biblical Studies & my M.A.T. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from CIU, here in Columbia. I married my husband, Bryan, in 2022. Together we love playing board games, cooking, and hiking. I also enjoy painting, reading, and playing piano. I view teaching as both my occupation and my calling and am honored to get to play a part in shaping young minds.
