All course information for students is provided through Google Classroom. Teachers will add students to their Google Classroom.
Parents/guardians cannot join Google Classrooms. However, they may receive daily or weekly summaries from Google Classroom. Contact any teacher to have your email enrolled for these summaries. For more information, see Google's Help article on Classroom Guardian Summaries.
Fundamentals of Computing is designed to introduce students to the field of computer science through an exploration of a variety of computing topics. Students will use critical thinking and problem solving skills to implement projects that are relevant to students’ lives. Students gain a fundamental understanding of the history and operation of computers, programming, web design, computational data, physical computing, machine learning, societal and ethical issues of computing.
Students play the role of real-life medical detectives as they collect and analyze medical data to diagnose disease. They solve medical mysteries through hands-on projects and labs, measure and interpret vital signs, examine nervous system structure and function, and investigate disease outbreaks.
