This course is designed to teach students the fundamentals of three-dimensional design and application of the elements and principles of design to create a strong three-dimensional artwork such as projects using clay, paper, plaster, fibers, cardboard, wood and other three-dimensional materials. Three-dimensional methods such as relief, modeling, carving and assemblage may be explored. Care and use of tools and materials and the studio will be stressed.
