I'm so excited to be teaching at Chapin Midde School again! I've taught chorus for the past 26 years, previously teaching at Chapin Middle School from 2000 to 2015. I was even honored to be chosen as Chapin Intermediate's Teacher of the Year during the 2016-2017 school year! I am married, and I have two children. My husband works at Dominion Energy, but he enjoys spending his free time hunting and working on tractors, trucks, and other vehicles. My 21-year-old son, Adam, is currently attending Midlands Technical College, where he is studying Computer-Aided Design and Machinery. My 23-year-old daughter, Anna, graduated from the University of South Carolina in December of 2024 with a degree in Biology. She is now attending MUSC in Charleston, where she is pursuing her Master's Degree in Perfusion. 

I graduated from Mid-Carolina High School. I have lived in Newberry County my entire life. I love Chapin and have seen so many changes. I love seeing my previous students around the town of Chapin. I even teach with two of my past students. 

I love spending my free time reading,  singing Karaoke, playing the piano, watching Netflix, bird watching, traveling and playing with my dog, Sadie. She is a German Shorthaired Pointer. This past summer, we vacationed in Edisto Beach. 

My passion is music and I am lucky to share what I love with my students.. I am excited about this school year and can't wait to meet my students!
