Harbison West Elementary School- Home of the HEROES-offers Spanish in grades preschool through fifth grade once a week. Kindergarten through fifth grade experience a World Language- Spanish here at HWES- once a week for 50 minutes. Preschool may be exposed to the language once a week for about 30 minutes. The learning level of proficiency for our HEROES is called the, "Novice-Low" level.
