Total Years Teaching: Currently on my 11th year

I hold a Psychology Degree along with a certification in Elementary Education. My passion for education began when I took a teacher cadet class my senior year of high school, and I'm committed to bringing that enthusiasm into my classroom every day. 

I believe every student deserves a classroom where they feel safe, valued, and empowered to grow. My approach focuses on collaborative learning, hands-on exploration, differentiated instruction, and ensuring that each learner can succeed at their own pace and in their own way. 

I teach 4th grade and prioritize creating an environment where curiosity is celebrated, mistakes are learning opportunities, and every voice matters. My classroom is built on respect, responsibility, kindness and I work closely with students and families to support academic growth and personal development.

When I'm not teaching, you'll find me spending time with my family, drawing, painting, running, or curled up watching one of my favorite shows. I believe in modeling lifelong learning and maintaining a healthy work-life balance—values I hope to instill in my students.
