About the Teacher

I am excited to be your child’s first Grade teacher this year! We are going to have a great year, full of growing, learning and fun! 

This is my 30th year teaching and my 27th year here at IES! I taught Kindergarten for 17 years , 3 years in Florida and 14 years here at IES.  This is my 13th year teaching 1st grade!  

I am from Tampa, Florida! I went to college at the University of Florida, so I am a big Gator Fan! I have 2 daughters, Madison and Avery. Madison is a senior at USC, majoring in Graphic Design.  Avery is a sophomore at USC, majoring in psychology. 

I am excited to have this opportunity to teach your child. We will grow together as learners and a class family!
