Email dcorley@lexrich5.org with “Parent Portal Access” in the subject line and give the student’s name and grade level in the body of the email.
Attach a picture of your photo id to the email requesting access.
Parent Portal access information will be sent to the parent by return email with instructions for creating a new account, or adding a student to an existing account.
Parents can choose instead to show their Photo ID in the school office to receive a paper copy of the access information.

All About Mrs. Metts
Welcome to 5th grade! I am so excited that you stopped by. My name is Ashley Metts, and I am thrilled to be beginning my 22nd year in education. After teaching 4th grade for nine years, I transitioned to 5th grade when Chapin Intermediate School opened in 2015. Now, I am delighted to join the Lake Murray Elementary School family, where I will be teaching my two absolute favorite subjects: ELA and social studies!
For those who don’t know me, I am a Chapin native—I attended kindergarten at CES and graduated from CHS. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and my Master of Arts in Teaching from Queens University of Charlotte.
My husband, Gary, is also from Chapin, and we have two children who keep us very busy. Our daughter, McKenzie, is a competitive swimmer and track athlete who also enjoys fishing, working out, reading, and shopping. She will be headed off to college in the fall. Our son, Cole, stays active with football, hunting, and fishing. As a family, we love spending our time on the lake, at the beach, and in the mountains.
