I am so excited to be an assistant this year! This is my first year with the district. Before joining the district, I worked at Piney Woods Elementary as the building substitute.

I am originally from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, but I moved to Chapin in 2017. I am married, my husband is a truck driver. We have two boys, ages 12 and (almost!) 10, along with three cats, two dogs, and a turtle.

Hi everyone! I’m so excited to join the Ballentine Elementary family. Born and raised in New York City, I’ve been teaching and supporting students since 2006. While most of my career has been spent with middle schoolers, I’m thrilled to bring my passion for K–5 math to our elementary learners to help build a strong, confident foundation early on.

When I’m not working through math problems, I’m a proud self-proclaimed nerd who loves video games, anime, sci-fi, and fantasy. You can also find me in the kitchen trying out new recipes or cheering on my World Champion New York Knicks! I’m looking forward to an amazing year of growing and learning together!
