This is my 8th year in kindergarten and I absolutely love this age and I am so privileged to be able to teach and learn alongside you and your child this school year.  I believe learning is possible only because we all work together as a team and I have the most amazing teacher, Mrs. Gatte working along side of me making all the magic happen! 

I am married with 3 children and I live in Irmo.  We love to kayak as a family.  I am a career changer and I'm so incredibly blessed to say that I am doing something that I am truly passionate about.  I hope you never question that my heart is in what I do and how I pour into our classroom.  I'm looking forward to another great year with you at HEC! 

My name is Patti Gatte and I grew up in Ohio with three sisters and two brothers. I moved to South Carolina in May 2019. I am married to my husband of 30 years and we have three adult children. This is my 7th year at H. E. Corley. I love my job here. I love to work with children and help them learn to read and write.
