I am excited to work with you and your child this year. I have been teaching for twenty-nine years, including twenty-three years with LexRich 5. During my time here, I have taught fourth-, fifth-, and sixth-grade math and science.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from USC Aiken and my Master’s degree in Elementary Education from USC Upstate. While teaching in Clinton, SC, I completed my National Board Certification in Middle Childhood Generalist in 2002 and renewed the certification in 2012.

I am married and we have two wonderful children. Our daughter works at MUSC and is preparing for graduate school; our son is a junior at The Citadel. We also have a six-year-old dog named Murray and a cat named Bandit. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, being outdoors, and cheering on the Gamecocks.
