About Me  

Hello, my name is Sarah Loyd! This is my third year teaching and I am so excited for the 2026-2027 school year. I received my Bachelor's in History from Winthrop University and Master's in Teaching from the University of South Carolina. I was born in Columbia and was a student in the district before we moved to Newberry, SC. In my free time, I love to hangout with family & friends, go to the gym, and play with my fur baby, Kobe. Social Studies has always been my favorite subject and I am eager to explore all 7 continents with your student!
